WHAT EVERY HORSEMAN WANTS.--- A good, cheap, and reliable liniment.—Such as Dr. TOBIAS’ Venetian Horse Liniment. In pint bottles at one dollar. For Lameness, Cuts, Galls, Colic, Sprains, &c., warranted cheaper than any other. It is used by all the great horsemen on Long Island courses. It will not cure Ring bone nor Spavin, as there is no Liniment in existence that will. What it is stated to cure is positively does. No owner of horses will be without it after trying one bottle. One dose revives and often saves the life of an overheated or driven horse. For Colic and Bellyache it has never failed. Just as sure as the sun rises, just so sure is this valuable Liniment to be the Horse Embrocation of the day. Use it one and all. Depot, No. 56 Cortland Street, New York. Sold by all Druggists and Storekeepers. 4t29

THIEVES.--- Bold and expert thieves are operating successfully in Fairfield just at this time. On Sunday night they robbed Mr. Phillip HOFFMAN of $40 in money and some school orders; borrowed some $15 from Jacob VOTE, took two gold rings from Mr. DAGGETT. They also visited LANG’s, BELL’s, and BLACK’s groceries, and some other places, and were generally successful in capturing small sums. If you can keep awake, watch and shoot. That is about the best remedy we know of.
