(Old) Fairfield City Cemetery


Location: Center Township, in Fairfield, Iowa. At the intersection of North B St. and Stone St. (see township map.)

Burials: 1839 to 1979.

Condition: The cemetery is in poor condition, with 48 stones flat on the ground, 168 leaning and 20 have some parts missing. This is a tax-supported cemetery but the mowing is done by the Evergreen Cemetery Association.

Mowed: Nicely mowed.
