This information uses as its basic source Volume III of the Jefferson County Records by the Log Cabin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Other sources have also been researched to be able to provided additional information. These include obituaries and "Jefferson County Iowa - 77 Cemeteries - 1839-Dec. 1990 " by Verda J. Baird - pub. July 1995. We are deeply grateful for the work done by these good people that have gathered and preserved this information.

This cemetery updated through 2005 from obituaries courtesy of Verda Baird, and from 2006 forward by Joey Stark from Fairfield Ledger obituaries.
