Obituary

Week Old Baby of Mr. and Mrs. Callison Buried Mon.
Callison, Irima

The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Callison which was born last Monday was destined to have but a short time to live, for the feeble spark of life went out before anyone realized that the baby had been in danger. She died Saturday morning and her death brings a deep sorrow to the hearts of her parents who were planning great things for her when she should grow up.

The funeral services were held yesterday at Metz, Rev. Lusaka of the Baptist church conducting the service. Four girls of Mrs. Callison Sunday school class, dressed in white, were the pall bearers. They were Misses Elf Awry, Fly Baldwin; Eva Cotton and Mildred Rogers.

Miss Rogers sang "Beckoning Hands" at the request of the sorrowing mother and amid a bank of flowers sent by sympathetic friends the little form was lowered to its last resting place.

Mr. and Mrs. Callison have the deepest sympathy of a host of friends in their bereavement. ~ Newton Daily News October 8, 1912.
