This listing is an index of names occurring in the cemetery books sold by the Iowa Genealogical Society. The purposes of the index are to 1) determine IF your ancestors are buried in Jasper County and 2) which cemetery they are buried in.
Names listed might not be an actual burial but might be a description such as "son of" or "parents of". Therefore some names are listed more than once because they are shown on different pages in the book. Also included are names on tombstones that have been put up but have no burials yet or where one person is deceased and the spouse is not. Most books show actual burials up until 1994 - 1996.
