Howard County, Iowa Cemeteries

The Political Graveyard is a website about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Here you will find a few politicians who had been born or lived in Howard County.

This is a list of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) Grave Registration for all Howard County cemeteries at the time of the project c. 1935 - 1943. The list was transcribed by Roseanna Zehner in 2004. In 2009 and 2010 all of the Iowa WPA records were put on the Internet. Click here for an index of the Howard County surnames.
