Eighth Grade Examinations

Seventeen Take Examinations Here in Grundy Center

Seventeen eighth grade country school pupils showed up here Thursday and Friday to take the examinations before Supt. D. R. Earl for admission to the high schools.

Examinations were held also at the following places outside of Grundy Center: Dike, Stout, Wellsburg, Reinbeck, Morrison, Ivester, Grant No. 5, Colfax No. 5, German No. 5, and Felix No. 8.

Supt. Earl is deeply interested in encouraging the pupils to go on with their work and not drop out of school when they finish the eighth grade. That his efforts along this line are meeting with success is evidenced by the increasing number of pupils who go on with the high school work.
