NOTES ON SCHOOL CONSOLIDATIONS

After the 1961-1962 school year, Rippey merged with Dana and Grand Junction to become East Greene Community School. In 1959 or 1960, Cooper merged with the Jefferson Consolidated School. After 1962, Paton Consolidated School merged with Churdan Consolidated School to become the Paton-Churdan Community School System. In 1990, Jefferson Consolidated School merged with Scranton Consolidated School to form the Jefferson-Scranton school system.
