Dear Fremont County Researcher, We hope your visit here, is a genealogical success! As we all work together, hopefully, we can have a better understanding of the lives our ancestors and their time in Fremont County.

We invite all to join us, and volunteer, for the Fremont County IAGenWeb project. Our Volunteers are the "heart" of the free databases found on this website. Without their generosity, there would be very little research information available, for no cost, to the researchers.

Here are just a few ways, you can help our project:

1. Donate a Photograph. (They can be scanned, you keep the original)
2. Donate a letter, an ancestor wrote. (They can be scanned, you keep the original)
3. Donate a postcard. (They can be scanned, you keep the original)
4. Share a story about your ancestor
5. Share a biography of your ancestor.
6. Be a Look-up volunteer (Do you have just one book, with Fremont County Information?)

2. Photographing cemeteries and add to our IAGenWeb Gravestone Project

There is very little information relating to Fremont County, genealogy & history, that is not acceptable for submission. If the record is still under copyright, we must have permission from the copyright holder, before posting the information. Information on living people, as a general rule is not accepted. If you have any questions about copyright, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to answer your questions. We love to hear from you, when you find something that is helpful.
