As for land records the only land records found with the US General Land Records of the US Bureau Department is that of the land in Clay County, Indiana... It is also sure as to what Regiment that Luke served in. It is more likely that he served Hall's Regiment under Lt Daniel Cox.. As you can tell the record of service length was brief but short.. No details as to why he served such a short time.. There has been no marriage record for of Luke Dyer and Sarah Barnes.. But belief is that they were married in Misspillion, Kent County, Delaware... Investigation of Tax records for that time period are warranted to find his placement in the state of Delaware as to also where his first born child Zipporah was born. 1810 Federal Census Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolinamales under 10 3males 10-15 1 males 1-25 2 males 45 and over 1 females 16-25 2 females over 45 1 1830 Federal Census Clay County, Indianamales 70-79 1females 10-14 1 Children of Luke Dyer and Sarah "Sally" BarnesZipporah Dyer b.
