Services held for Mrs. Lee Stroud, 20

Mrs. Lee (Elaine) Stroud, 20, died at the Belmond Community hospital Saturday, March 2, after nearly a year's illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Klemme. The Rev. E. H. Lauer, pastor of the church, officiated. Mrs. Wm. Reinhart, Merri June Reinhart and Nancy Reihart sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" and Beneath the Cross," accompanied by Karen Nuehring. Mrs. Harlan Nuehring, Mrs. Darwin Wille and Mrs. Harvey Barz were on the flower committee. Interment was made in the Ell Township cemetery, Klemme. Pallbearers were Donald Katuin, Woden; Richard Katuin, Kanawha; Franklin Pitkin, Mason City; Byron Koenen, Thornton; Lester VerHelst, Goodell, and Frank Kardoes, Mankato, Minn.

Born at Klemme, March 21, 1942, she was the daughter of John and Lida (Griffen) Eenhuis. She attended school in Liberty township and later graduated from Klemme high school with the class of 1960. She worked for a time at the elevator in Klemme. On October 22, 1960, she was married to Lee Stroud at Humboldt. They have made their home in Klemme.

Surviving are her husband, Lee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Eenhuis; one brother, James, and two sisters, Rosalie and Marilyn, all of Klemme. Also surviving are her grandmother, Mrs. Louis Griffen, Klemme; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Eenhuis, Britt, and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lee Stroud Rites Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Lee (Elaine) Stroud were held Tuesday, Mar. 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Klemme, Iowa, Rev. E. H. Lauer, pastor officiated. Mrs. Stroud died Saturday evening at the Belmond Community Hospital after nearly a year's illness.

She was born at Klemme on March 21, 1942, the daughter of John and Lida Griffen Eenhuis. As a youth she attended school in Liberty Township, and later graduated from Klemme High School in 1960. She worked for a time at the Elevator in Klemme, and was married on Oct. 22, 1960, to Lee Stroud at Humboldt. She and her husband have lived in Klemme since then.

Surviving are her husband, Lee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Eenhuis; one brother, James; and two sisters, Rosalie and Marilyn, all of Klemme. Also surviving are her grandmother, Mrs. Louis Griffen and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Eenhuis.
