Bryan J. Fish
October 10, 1961 - February 22, 2011

Bryan John Fish was born October 16, 1961 in Britt, Iowa to Albert and Vera (Fett) Fish. He attended Corwith-Wesley Schools, graduating in 1980. During his youth he was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Corwith. His favorite sport was football which he played during his school years. In 1995 Bryan graduated from NIACC and then earned his bachelor's degree from Buena Vista University two years later. As a young man, Bryan's adventurous, competitive spirit led him to job opportunities in various states. He loved to travel and experience new horizons. This love for adventure compelled him to follow his family tradition and join the United States Navy in 1987, which was his most successful endeavor.

While in the Navy, Bryan met and married Theresa Stewart in Greenwich, Connecticut. During his enlisted time, he saw the world and in 1990, participated in Desert Shield. In 1994, Bryan received an honorable discharge and returned with his young family to his roots in Corwith. He continued living there until his untimely death on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.

Bryan was gifted with an exceptional mind. He was employed as an IT specialist and because of his love for computers, tried his entrepreneurial skills, creating a business that centered around selling and setting up computers. Buying and selling guns was his hobby that developed into a business. Bryan was, also, an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

He is survived by his two sons, Cary and Sean Fish; his mother Vera Fish, a sister Carol Niewald; a brother Brett Fish; former wife Theresa Fish, all of Corwith; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by a son Luke Fish, his father Albert Fish Sr.; two brothers Albert (Skip) Fish Jr. and Ronald Fish, a great-nephew Trevor Webb; his grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.

Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Elmer Wilson Post # 229.
