A shock has come to our vicinity that but few can describe when Henry Shoen went to the river to search for his son William and found him in the water dead. The deceased was thrown from a horse and was seriously injured and has been in failing health for some time. He suffered the loss of his mother on Christmas Day and it was six months when his spirit was called to be with her. William Shoen was born August 6, 1887, in Wright County and has always lived in that County. The funeral was held on Monday, June 27 and burial was in Goldfield Cemetery. A father and brother mourn his loss beside an aged grandmother and many other relatives. We extend to them the sincerest sympathy in their time of sorrow.
