DEATH OF MRS. SHOEN

The death of Mrs. Henry Shoen which occurred Christmas Day come as a painful shock to the community. Mrs. Shoen had been in failing health for several months and suffered a gradual decline until the week previous to the end, her condition grew rapidly worse. Mrs Shoen was a woman highly respected by all her acquaintances. She was true to her loved ones and devoted to the duties of home and family. Her loss to the home is great and a wide circle of friends deeply mourn with the family.

Sarah Ellen McCurry was born in Frankville, Winneshiek Co., Iowa, March 26th, 1866, and died at her home near Goldfield December 25, 1909. aged 43 years, 9 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Henry W. Shoen May 1, 1884. She was the mother of five children three dying in infancy. She leaves a kind husband and two sons Ernest and William, an aged mother, and four brothers to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Monday conducted by Rev W. C Cole of Goldfield. The remain were laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery. The family have the sympathy of many.
