KINGMAN, Kansas--Marie M. Harris, 89, of Kingman, formerly of Goodell, Iowa, died Nov. 20, 1995, at Wheatland Care Center in Kingman. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Tenold Funeral Chapel, Belmond, Iowa, with the Rev. Jerry Robertson of the United Methodist Church in Goodell and Klemme, Iowa, officiating. Inurnment will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell, Iowa.

Marie M. (Hardesty) Harris, the daughter of Charles M. and Nettie (Meisner) Hardesty was born Nov. 9, 1906, at Waterloo, Kan. She was united in marriage to Verdi Harris on Dec. 28, 1924, at Waterloo, Kan. They moved to Goodell, Iowa, in 1942, when they purchased the bank in Goodell. They retired from the banking business in 1970. She remained in the area until 1981, when she moved to Kingman. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Verdi.
