Jerry E. Lewis, 63, of the 2500 block of East Sheridan Avenue died of multiple system failure Thursday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell.

Mr. Lewis was born in Clarion and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was an assistant parts manager with Kenworth-Mid Iowa. He was a charter member of Sons of Norway and a member of the LAF group at his church. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Lewis, and a son, Ross, both of Des Moines and two sisters, Elaine Cline of Goodell and Carol Feller of Belmond. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Grandview Park Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
