Margaret Wolf, 96, of Webster City, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday.

Margaret Josephine Johnson, daughter of John and Minnie Martinson Johnson, was born June 18, 1909 in Story County. She received her education in Webster City schools. On May 11, 1931 she married William John Wolf at Randall, IA. The couple resided on a farm near Woolstock. Mr. Wolf died in 1956. On April 10, 1957, she married Kenneth Elroy Martinson at South Carolina. The couple resided at Willmar, Minnesota. Mr. Martinson died in 1978. She moved to Webster City in 1982. On October 29, 1984 she married William Clifton Wolf at Webster City, The couple resided at Webster City. Mr. Wolf died in 1993. Margaret was a well known seamstress in the Webster City area and had also worked at the Star Laundry for over 16 years.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Risinger of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Hatsue Johnson of Webster City; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Melvin "Bill" Johnson and sisters, Marie Smith, Beatrice Reisetter and Jeanette Burton.

She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and R.S.V.P. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and sold much of her work at the R.S.V.P. office.
