Irene Hedwig Timmermann
March 30, 1934 --- January 26, 1992

Irene Hedwig Timmermann was born March 30, 1934, the daughter of Walter and Martha Arndt Timmermann at Elma, Iowa. She had been handicapped since birth, living in her parents' home. The family moved to Eagle Grove in 1949.

She was able to attend Wright County Opportunities Center in Clarion where she received help to bring along her special skills.

She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, as well as the Wright County Opportunities Center in Clarion.

Irene Timmermann died January 26, 1992, at her home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 57 years, nine months, and 26 days.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents; and a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Hilda) Schulte, Mountain Home, Ark.

Funeral services were held January 29 at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Tom Evans officiated at the 11 a.m. services, and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. The Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, was in charge of arrangements.
