Frank Sadler
December 27, 1899 — August 11, 1989

Frank Sadler was born December 27, 1899, the son of Henry and Susan Thielen Sadler at Eagle Grove. He received his education in the Sadler Country School.

He was united in marriage to Anne Catherine Whitty of Eagle Grove on May 24, 1938, at Webster City. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove.

Frank was employed as a car inspector for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, Eagle Grove, until retiring. His wife died in 1978. On January 21, 1986, he moved to the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove.

Frank was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eagle Grove, Knights of Columbus and the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen.

He was admitted to the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion on July, 30. Frank Sadler died at the hospital in Clarion August 11, 1989, at the age of 89 years, seven months, and 14 days.

He was preceded in death, by his parents; his wife; six brothers, Pete, Chuck, Matt, Laurence, Leo and Nick. He is survived by one daughter, Sue and her husband, Dan Froseth, of Folsom, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 14, at the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Grove with the Rev. Wayne Droessler officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Kastler-Babcock Services was in charge of arrangements
