Mildred L. Moss Edwards
14 November 1920 --- 7 August 1994

Mildred L. Edwards was born at Kanawha on November 14, 1920 the daughter of Lars and Marie Howland
Moss. She received her education and grew to womanhood in the Kanawha and Eagle Grove areas.
On February 22, 1941 she and Clarence Edwards were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in
Nashua. They farmed in the Eagle Grove and Goldfield areas and moved to Clarion in 1970. Clarence Edwards died on August 16, 1972. Mildred Edwards worked for the Clarion Community Schools and Duane Sandage. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Clarion. Mildred L. Edwards, 73, Clarion, died at the Clarion Health Care Center on Sunday, August 7, 1994. She had been a patient there since last December.

Survivors are her five children, Martin of Des Moines; Conrad of Woodland, Calif.; Arlo of Goldfield; Carolyn Nordin of Minneapolis, Minn.; Rodney of Lodi, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two brothers, Olaf Moss of Clarion and Harold Moss of Webster City; and a sister, Esther Skadburg of Goldfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Palmer, Orville, and Martin; and a grandson.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, August 10 at 1:30 p.m. from the Clarion Church of
the Nazarene with Pastor H. Mark Else officiating. Burial was in the Holmes Lutheran Cemetery south of Holmes. Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
