Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mulligan are called upon to mourn the death of their little five year old son Frankie, who died last Thursday of membraneous sore throat. The little fellow had been sick only two weeks and during that time all that anxious and loving hearts could do was done.
Dr. F. J. Will was the intending physician and Wednesday Drs. Morse, of this city and Boss, of Webster City, were called in consultation. But it was all to no effect.
The funeral took place Friday afternoon from the Catholic church, Rev. Father Garland conducting the services. A large concourse of sympathizing friends attended, and followed the remains to their last resting place in Rose Hill cemetery. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their great sorrow.
