Lucretia Mitchell, daughter of Nathan and Lydia Mitchell, died April 17, 1888, aged 6 years and 3 months.

Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Mitchell last Tuesday, claiming their only daughter, little Lucretia, aged about six years. Her disease first developed into membraneous croup, but the attending physician made an incision in the throat and inserted a silver tube, relieving the little one so that a marked improvement was observed, when treacherous pneumonia set in, terminating fatally. In their sad bereavement Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell have the sympathy of many sorrowing friends. She was a bright, interesting child and in the home circle will be sadly missed.
