Catherine C. Mitchell
September 1894 --- May 9, 1895

Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Mitchell last Thursday, May 9th, and took from the family circle their baby girl, Catharine C., aged 8 months, the pride and light of the household, cerebrospinal meningitis being the disease. Those who have passed through similar afflictions know how hard it is to part with such treasures, and the parents have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Rev. Southwell conducted the funeral services on Friday, at 4 p.m., the burial taking place at Rose Hill.
