1880 -- June 15, 1882

DIPHTHERIA -- From Ed. Hartsock we learn that this terrible scourge has appeared in a very, malignant form in the Dane settlement of Eagle Grove township — northwest part. A child that had died of it was buried on Sunday and there were several more sick with the malady who were considered as in a very critical condition.
