Mrs. Maree Olson, 75, died Wednesday at the Clarion Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the United Presbyterian Church in charge of Rev. Wm. McConnelee. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Olson is survived by one son Duane (Bill) Olson, Goldfield, one daughter, Mrs. Verle Lenz, Jewell; two brothers: Maxwell Risvold, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and Orval Risvold, Banning, Calif.; also, nine grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Olson was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School and lived with her uncle and aunt, the late Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald, in Eagle Grove.

She taught school for many years before retiring and moving to Goldfield.

Mrs. Maree Olson, 75, Goldfield, died Feb.16 at the Clarion Community Hospital.

Services were held Saturday at 1:30 p. m. in the Presbyterian Church, Goldfield, with burial in the Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Surviving are a son, Duane (Bill) Olson, Goldfield; a daughter Patricia (Mrs. Verle) Lenz, Jewell; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Maxwell Risvold, San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Orval Risvold, Banning, Calif.

Maree Risvold was born at Pioneer and attended Eagle Grove Schools. She married Clifford Olson of Goldfield in 1923 at Eagle Grove and they farmed until 1956 when Mr. Olson died. She moved to Eagle Grove in 1956 and taught school, moving then to California where she taught for 13 years. In 1968 she graduated from Drake University, Des Moines. She retired in Goldfield in 1972.

Mrs. Olson was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Eagle Grove; American Association of University Women; Alpha Club and D.E.L.L. Club, Goldfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford, two brothers, Randall and Ward, and one sister Margaret.
