Dennis Allen Thurmond Sr. (1942-2021)

Dennis Allen Thurmond lived to the age of 80. He was proceded in death by his wife of 16 years and love of his life for near 30, Bernice Wagner Thurmond, his daughter Lori Fragola, parents
Raymond Sr. and Jeanette Thurmond and brother in law Jerry Zatloukal.

Dennis attended Eagle Grove High School with the class of 1960. He held many jobs in the Eagle Grove area including COOP service station, part owner of T&D Service and many years with Sadler Construction.

He was an active member of The United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. He enjoyed working on building projects for the church as well as family and friends. Over the years he has enjoyed many activities including bowling, softball, fishing, hunting and motorcycles. He has always owned and maintained his cars meticulously. But above all cherished family.

He is survived by his kids, Dennis Thurmond Jr., Tammy Pedersen (Chris), Rusty Washington (Sherlene), Randy Washington (Julie), Theresa Kist (Tom) and Nancy Wells. Siblings Deb Webb (Steve), Jan Zatloukal, Raymond Thurmond (Linda) as well as 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts.
