Clarence D. Larson Dies Sunday Morning

Clarence David Larson, 59, died Sunday morning at his home at 317 South Commercial Ave following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist church with the Rev. Arthur Anderson officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Mr. Larson is survived by his wife Goldie, two sons, John of Ft. Dodge and Glenn of Rapid City, S. D., five daughters, Mrs. Gerald Kramer of Algona; Mrs. Norman Mabe of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Dick Hefty, Webster City; Mrs. Dwight Ferguson of Otho, and Cynthia at home. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Benjamin Mullin, Kanawha; Mrs. Otto Willy, Lu Verne; Mrs. Caroline Langhoff, Mason City and Mrs. Harold Christensen of Eagle Grove.

Mr. Larson was born March 21, 1907 to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Larson of Goldfield. Mr. and Mrs. Larson and family moved here in 1936 from Mason City and he was employed at Wilson and Co. until 1950 when he began working at Franklin Manufacturing Co. in Webster City. He became ill in March of 1966 and has been a patient in the hospital much of the time since. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
