Milford – Services for Geoffrey G. Stover, who was killed Thursday night in a one-car accident on U S. 13 near Woodside, will be tonight at 8 in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield, Iowa.

Mr. Stover, 39, who lived at 110 Bridgeham Ave., Milford, was a sheet metal worker in the civil service at Dover Air Force Base since 1982. He also was in the Air Force Reserve Training Program and was a member of the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Club at the base. He was in the Air Force from 1971 to 1974 and served in Vietnam.

He was born in Washington, D. C., and spent his childhood in Iowa. He worked in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver for eight years in animal research before coming to Dover.

He is survived by his mother, Carol C. Brown of Smyrna; two sisters, Carol C. Thatcher of Marion, Iowa, and Michele B. Patterson of Fort Ord, Calif.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Geoffrey Stover Memorial Fund, in care of Mrs. Carol Brown, 12 Lake Drive, Smyrna, 19977.
