Wade W. Willard, the son of Louis and Jean (Conaway) Willard was born June 2, 1960, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, where he was raised and educated. Wade married Jane Thompson and they continued to make their home and raise their family in Eagle Grove for 33 years. Wade worked for Promico, Miller Grain Systems, ADS and M D Electric.

He enjoyed "junking" and spending time with his granddaughters and family. Wade passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at the age of 52 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Steven Willard, and brother, Brady Willard. Wade is survived by his wife, Jane, daughter, Whitney (Jorge), son Bud, two granddaughters, Jazsalene and Amelia; brothers: Terry Willard (Sandy), Bud Willard (Char), Gary Willard and Mark Willard; sisters: Naomi Hower of Pennsylvania, Michelle Willard (Chris Peterson) of Eagle Grove, Candy Baker (Mike) of Eagle Grove, Carla Schnell (Melvin) of Eagle Grove, Gwen Alcorn of Webster City, and Jackie Thompson of Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Kathy Willard and Lori Humphrey and brothers-in-law, Mick, Rick and Bruce Boyington, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 3:30 p.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
