BENEDICT, BROWN, KELLING, PALMATEER, POLMATEER, POOL

Word was received here last week of the death of Nora Brown which occurred at San Francisco, Cal., where she has been making her home the last few years. The remains, accompanied by Will Brown who has also been living in California, arrived in Goldfield last Monday morning and burial took place at the Goldfield cemetery, Rev. Nicholson holding a short service at the grave.

Among those who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Will Pool and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pool of Algona, Thomas Brown of Iowa City, E. G. Palmateer [Polmateer] of Chokio, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Kelling, Mr. and Mrs. H. Palmateer [Polmateer] and Mrs. Benedict of Renwick and many other relatives and old friends of the family.

Nora Brown was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and was born in Boone township, Wright county, Iowa, 55 years ago. She moved from this vicinity many years ago and has seldom visited here, but is still remembered by many readers of the Times.

The burial service of Nora Brown was held her Monday and was conducted by Rev. J. S. Nicholson. Miss Brown was raised in Boone township and was the daughter of Mrs. E. Polmateer. She died in San Francisco, Calif., and was laid to rest at the Goldfield cemetery beside her father. A short service was held at the grave.

People from out-of-town attending the service were Ed. Polmateer of Chokio, Minn., Will Brown of San Francisco, Calif., Tom Brown, Bonita Brown and Oliver Brown of Iowa City, Mrs. Will Poole [Pool] and Lloyd Poole [Pool] of Algona.
