Marshall Tolfred Thompson
20 October 1905 --- 10 March 1973

Funeral services for Marshall T. Thompson, 67, long time Eagle Grove resident, were held Tuesday morning at the Wilson Funeral Home in charge of Rev. H. W. Schiller. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson died Saturday at the Veteran's Hospital, Des Moines, where he had been a patient for one month. For the past several years he had lived in the Iowa Soldier's Home at Marshalltown, due to failing eyesight.

He is survived by four children, Dale of Greta, La.; Mark and two daughters, Mrs. Jim Tuten, and Mrs. Pam Ebby of Ruston, La. Other survivors are one sister, Miss Gertrude Thompson of Boone, and one brother, Tillman Thompson of Long Beach, Calif.

Marshall served with the military during World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
