7 March 1888 --- 17 September 1969

Al Bloomquist, long time Eagle Grove resident, died Wednesday morning at Friendship Haven, Ft. Dodge. He had been seriously ill for several weeks. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Forbes will be in charge. Mr. Bloomquist is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Russell Blackman, one grandson, Dr. James Blackman of Duluth, Minn., and one great grandson. He was a barber in the Eagle Grove Barber Shops for many years before his retirement.
