Robert Samuel Lloyd
13 January 1898 --- 1 July 1968

Funeral services will be this (Wednesday) afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First United Methodist Church for Robert Lloyd, 70. Mr. Lloyd died suddenly Monday morning at Pine River, Minn., where he was on a fishing trip with his son, Duane Lloyd of Iowa Falls. Cause of death was coronary occlusion.

The pastor Rev. Donald Forbes, and Rev. Harrison Dawes of Storm Lake, a former pastor of the Methodist Church here, will officiate.

Mr. Lloyd is survived by one son, Duane, two grandsons, and two granddaughters.

He retired as auditor for the Motor-Fuel Tax Department of the State of Iowa about 4 years ago, and previously was the tank wagon agent for Skelly Oil Co. here for 15 years.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Lloyd, Mr. Lloyd was born at Wesley, Iowa Jan. 13, 1898. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and eight brothers. He was the last of his immediate family.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
