Jennie Annette Jensen
13 February 1888 --- 10 November 1968

Jennie Annette Jensen, daughter of Nels Peter and Karen Amundson Jensen, was born on February 13, 1888 in Humboldt County, Iowa. When she was one year old the family moved to Eagle Grove, which has been her home until her death on November 10, 1968. She was 80 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age at the time of her passing.

As a young girl she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and has been a member of the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church through out her lifetime. She attended the Eagle Grove schools and after graduating from high school she taught school in the country schools for years. In her later years she was a store clerk and a very popular and familiar person in Eagle Grove business places.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anders. She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Emma Jensen of Eagle Grove, and 2 brothers, Joe of Eagle Grove, and Carl of Fort Dodge.

Services were held Tuesday November 12, 1968 at 2:00 p.m. at the E. G. Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. H. W. Schiller officiating. Interment was held on the family lot in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
