Emma Elizabeth Willard Beuck
9 August 1894 --- 14 March 1968

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Emma Beuck, 73, at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Rev. Bernard Olson officiated, and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Beuck died early Thursday morning, March 14th, in Mercy Hospital, Fort Dodge. She had been a patient there since Oct 23, 1967, following surgery.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Foster of Webster City and Mrs. Vernie Lichtenberger who lives in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Lillian Thomas, and three brothers, Arthur, Archie, and Lewis Willard.

Mrs. Beuck the former Emma Elizabeth Willard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Willard, was born in Hamilton County, Aug. 8, 1891. She was employed as an auditor for the Marshall Field Co. in Chicago before her marriage to William Beuck in 1925. Due to his work as a salesman, Mr. and Mrs. Beuck lived in various places before moving to Eagle Grove in 1933. Mr. Beuck died in 1957.

For several years Mrs. Beuck assisted at the Hotel New Eagle. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
