Grace May Tate Shadle
22 May 1905 --- 2 June 1978Memorial services were held Saturday, June 10, in the Church of the Open Bible for Mrs. Grace Shadle, 73, of Denver, Colo.
Born May 22, 1905 in Bogota, Ill., she married Victor Shadle in Eagle Grove in 1926. Mrs. Shadle is survived by two sons, Dorman of Dakota City and Daniel of Des Moines; and two daughters in Denver: Norma Jean (Mrs. Bob Pepper) and Mary Lou (Mrs. Donald Miles). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, a half-brother, Virgil Tate of Renwick, a half-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Tate Thompson of Iowa City, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Lola Shadle Burke of Urbana, Ill.
Dr. Lloyd Meyer officiated at the ceremony and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
