Harry Midland, born to Olaf and Melia Toresdahl Midland, Feb. 16, 1901, at Eagle Grove, died suddenly at his Eagle Grove home, Thursday, May 18. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenneth Torvik, pastor, with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kastler Funeral Home in charge.

Harry was baptized March 17, 1901, by Rev. O. R. Sletten and confirmed Aug. 27, 1916, by Rev. H. A. Okdale. Except for a year or two when he worked in South Dakota and Illinois, he has lived and worked in Eagle Grove.

In 1931, he married Irene Long of Eagle Grove. He is well known as a painter in the Eagle Grove area and worked on the new church from which he is buried.

He is survived by his wife Irene; two sons, Dale of Eagle Grove and Marvin of Ames and one grandson; three sisters, Irene, Mrs. C. Olson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Myrtle and Lulu of Eagle Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother who died in infancy.
