Mildred Muriel Beer Brown
26 January 1907 --- 17 November 1972

Mildred Muriel Brown, daughter of Louis and Alice Thebiay Beer, was born January 26, 1907, in Eagle Grove. Following graduation from Eagle Grove High School, she attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

She was united in marriage to Carroll Brown in Eagle Grove on May 3, 1941. They made their home in Chicago, Ill. many years before retiring to Eagle Grove and Florida.

Mrs. Brown became ill this past winter while vacationing in Florida and had been hospitalized several times throughout the following months. She died early Friday morning, November 17, in the hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was 65 years, 9 months, and 21 days of age at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband, Carroll, and her mother, who resides in the Rotary Ann Home.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Emmett Braselton officiating. Interment was held on the family lot in Rose Hill Cemetery.
