Mrs. Geneva Sanders Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Geneva Sanders, 72, died Christmas eve at the Rotary Ann Home where she had been a patient for the past eight months. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in the First Methodist church with the Rev. Bernard Olson officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by one son Delmar Sanders of rural Eagle Grove and two daughters Mrs. Gerald Walsh and Mrs. Paul Umstead both of Eagle Grove, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Carl Lewis of Webster City and three sisters Mrs. Atta Christensen, Mrs. Mary Bernard and Mrs. Ode Jergensen of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Sanders who made her home at 210 North Iowa for many years, was the former Geneva Lewis. She was married to Roy Sanders in 1916 in Eagle Grove and they farmed in the Head Grove neighborhood until his death in 1949.
