PETERSON

7 August 1876 --- 7 October 1886

A sad accident occurred at Thrall last Thursday morning, which resulted in the death of Frank [Fred] Peterson, aged about 10 years. The facts as we learn them are that he was driving a team hitched to a hay press, and while the team was making a heavy pull the doubletrees broke, letting the sweep of the press spring back and strike him across the abdomen. He was a son of the man who froze to death near Thrall last winter.
