Arthur T. Nodland
11 July 1884 ---- 7 August 1950

Arthur T. Nodland, son of Tom and Bertha Johnson, was born at Morris, Ill., July 11, 1884 and passed away August 7, 1950 at the age of sixty-six years and twenty-six days. He lived at Morris, Ill., until five years of age when the family moved to Norway. At the age of twelve the family returned to America and settled at Badger,
Iowa. He was confirmed and received his education at Badger.

In 1915 he was united in marriage to Miss Marie Walker. Two sons were born to this union, Archie and Burdette, both of Clarion, Iowa. The family has lived at Eagle Grove and Clarion, Iowa. Mr. Nodland was preceded in death by his mother, father and two sisters. Surviving to mourn his passing are his wife, two sons, one grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Ole Aukland of Eagle Grove, four brothers, Henry Nodland of Frost, Minn., Thomas Nodland of Frost, Minn., Joseph Nodland of Zumbrota, Minn., and Solvie Nodland of Rockwell, Iowa, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Anderson Funeral Chapel, Clarion, Iowa, at 1:30 p.m. and at the First Lutheran Church, Clarion, Iowa at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 10. Rev. H. C. Bakken officiated assisted by Mr. James Christensen, student pastor. Interment was made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Ia.
