Sandra Jean Buhr Frakes went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2012. She was born on September
28, 1964 in Clarion, Iowa.

Memorial services were held on Monday, August 27. Reverend Fran Pettigrew of Eagle Grove First Baptist Church and Pastor Michael Carmody of Fort Dodge's New Covenant Christian Church officiated.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons: Brant (Jen); Mitchell (Melissa); and their father, Keith Frakes; children Tracy (Daniel Lee); Jason; Michael; Jacob; and their father George Babcock; her grandchildren Tyler, Zach, Emalee, Easton, Tristan, and Brayden; parents Weldon and Elizabeth Buhr; sisters, Kimberly, and her husband, Jeff Wilson; Roxanna, and her husband, Frank Kirsch; Angela, and her husband, Mike Walters; Julianna Buhr; and brother, James Buhr, and his wife, Johna, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandi enjoyed cooking for everything and everyone, family especially She also loved cooking and serving at Grama Beth's Kitchen in Goldfield, Iowa. She loved her children, grandchildren, parents, and family dearly, and held each and every one of them close to her heart. Her passion was making people laugh, her laughter was contagious. Whether you were a family member, a friend, or someone she had just met, you wouldn't leave her presence without having smiled and laughed. She always brought a smile to everyone's face when she entered a room. Everyone she knew enjoyed her joyful, loving spirit. The love of Jesus made her a beautiful person and showed through her with every smile. She will always be our angel, treasured in our hearts forever.
