Emma Wooster
28 May 1911 --- 1 February 1989Emma Wooster was born May 28, 1911, the daughter of Martin and Katerine Groffe Wooster at Milwaukee, Wis. She received her education in Eagle Grove schools.
Emma, a single woman, who had a deep love for family and friends, spent her working life employed as a waitress at the old Club Cafe in Eagle Grove.
She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove.
In 1986, Emma moved to the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, where she died on February 1, 1989 at the age of 77 years, eight months, and three days.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Fredrick M.; Henry; and Martin; and two sisters, Mary, and Amelia.
She is survived by two brothers, Ben, Eagle Grove, and Carl, Fort Dodge; two sisters, Katherine Tanner, Eagle Grove, and Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Christopher, Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Ruth Wooster, Eagle Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held February 4, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Paul Schaedig officiated, and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
