Harry Eldon Hinrichs
23 April 1899 --- 2 September 1958

Harry Eldon Henrickson, son of John and Minnie Clark Henricks, was born in Clark County, Iowa near Osceola April 23, 1899 and passed away Sept. 2 at the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 9 days in the hospital at Clarion from injuries received when he was crushed beneath a dump truck. Harry was unloading dirt at his farm home when this happened.

He lived in Clark County until about 13 years of age when he with his parents moved to Dana in Greene County. Later he lived in the vicinity of Fort Dodge till he moved to the farm where he lived till his death. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Dana.

Harry was united in marriage to Nellie Manning in 1952.

He was preceded in death by his father, twin brothers who died in infancy, and 1 half-brother. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Nellie, three daughters, Helen Christian of Fort Dodge, Opal Dowdall, and Elizabeth Henricks both of California; 6 grandchildren; 2 stepsons, Harold and Jerry Manning; his mother living in Dana; 1 sister, Jean, of Dana; 4 brothers, Roy of Dana, James of Jefferson, Earl of Waterloo, and Clark of Adaza; 3 half-brothers, Floyd, Abbott, and Melvin Henrichs all of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Sept. 6 at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Phillip Halverson. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Casket bearers were, James Stroup, LaVerne Romsey, Ralph Peterson, Arthur Peterson, Raymond Thompson, and Emmett Fraser.
