Phyllis Fern (Seaquist) Jones Smith

Phyllis F. Smith, 85, of St Petersburg, died Tuesday Jan. 8, 2002) at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Bradgate, Iowa [McIntire, Iowa], she came here in 1946 from Clarion, Iowa. She was the former owner of a beauty shop in St Petersburg and was a Protestant.

Survivors include a son, Michael D. Jones, St. Petersburg; a daughter, Mary Ann Mechem, Clarion, Iowa; two sisters, Patricia Myers, Austin, Texas, and Wanda Watkins, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, St Petersburg.
