Lawrence Fulton Cash
24 August 1871 ---- 25 March 1933

Fulton Cash, son of Henry and Margaret Jane Cash, was born at Flora, Ill., August 24, 1871, and died at his home near Eagle Grove, Iowa [Troy Township] March 25, 1933.

He was united in marriage with Emma Wier on July 29, 1894. To them were born four daughters, all of whom survive him. He came to Wright county in October 1913 where he has resided until his death.

He was converted and joined the Methodist church at Fairview, Ill., in 1909 where he kept his membership until 1929 when he joined as did his family with the Methodist membership in Eagle Grove.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife, Mrs. Emma Cash, and four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Williams, Ethel Cash, Mrs. Ada Asher, Mrs. Ruth Russell. There are also four grandchildren, Audrey and Warren Williams and Donald and Eldon Asher. Besides his immediate family he is survived by three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Florence Lindsey of Woolstock, Ia., Mrs. Mina Vollman of Mountain Lake, Minn., Mrs. Alice McDaniels of Makanda, Ill., and John Livingston of Cobden, Ill.

Mr. Cash had been in failing health since November but was up and about until about the first of March. Since then, he has been confined to his home. On Wednesday of last week, he grew worse, and the end came as a shock to his many friends on Saturday afternoon when he was summoned to his eternal home.

Funeral services were held from the Wilson Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. W. L. Breaw, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
