Mrs. M. C. Keith, 82, former resident of Casper, died Tuesday in Longview, Wash., where she had made her home for the past 10 years. She was born May 2, 1877 in New York and lived in Casper from 1906 to 1930.

She and her husband then lived in Cheyenne, where Dr. Keith was state health officer for some time after practicing medicine in Casper for many years. Dr. Keith died in 1948.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Keith Horn, Mrs. Mary Jane Nichols of Longview, and Mrs. Marjorie Robison of Ft. Collins; one son, Marshall C. Keith of San Francisco, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, W. C. Dewel of Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Berton Thorpe of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, a past matron of O.E.S. and had received a 60 year pin, and was also a member of the P.E.O.

Her body is being shipped to Casper for services and burial on Friday. Horstman-Gay Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
