Clyde Ellsworth Yeager
7 November 1924 --- 20 October 1993

Clyde Yeager, 68, of 4805 W. 40th St. No. 4 died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1993, in Sioux Valley Hospital. Mr. Yeager was born Nov. 7, 1924, in West Point, Iowa. He was orphaned at the age of six and brought up by his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Dieterich of Wyaconda, Mo. He graduated from high school there in 1942. He served in the Marine Corps throughout the war in the South Pacific. He married Wilma Mason in 1946 in Fort Madison, Iowa. They moved to Sioux Falls, where he was employed as a terminal operator for Amoco Oil Company. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and VFW Post No. 628 in Sioux Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Sioux Falls; one son, Rodney of Houlton, Maine; one daughter, Sheila Yeager of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren; and cousin, Lisbeth Sebastian of Sioux Falls. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison.
