Anna Eliza Keena Jackson Hamblin
13 February 1867 ---- 27 November 1932

The remains of Mrs. Anna E. Hamblin, who died of heart trouble in the Elmhurst [Illinois] hospital were buried in Eagle Grove, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1932. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Keena. She was born on February 13, 1867 and was married to Ellis Jackson in the spring of 1888. To them were born two children, and infant son, who died in 1889, and a daughter, Effie Marie. Ellis Jackson died on May 24, 1904. Mrs. Jackson was married in 1907 to Arthur Hamblin who also preceded her in death. She leaves besides her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bagge of Villa Park, Ill., two grandsons, Jackson and Allan Bagge, a brother, Frank Keena of Hugo, Colo., and a sister, Mrs. Rhoda E. Newburn of Urbana, Ill.

Mrs. Hamblin was a member of the Baptist church and was also a member of the Rebekah lodge in which order she received the degree of chivalry. She was past oracle of the Royal Neighbors, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Railroad Trainmen and of the Twilight Camp R. N. A. of Sioux City, Iowa.

For the last hew years she has made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bagge, the former having a position in the Trust Department of the Continental Bank of Chicago.

She had considerable artistic ability, was of a generous and happy disposition, and she was passionately fond of flowers and all that was beautiful in nature.
