Joseph Louis Pojman Joseph Louis Pojman, born August 12, 1909, in Chicago, Illinois, died June 20, 1988, in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Pojman graduated from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa, in 1933.

A former resident of Rockford, Illinois, he moved to Austin in 1952. Formerly Mr. Pojman was the president of Rockford Furniture Associates. He served as an elder, deacon, and trustee of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin; as past-president of West Austin Rotary Club and as the first president of Westwood Country Club. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM, Rockford, Illinois, York Rite - Knight Templar, Tebla Shrine Temple, Rockford, Illinois.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 1988, at 10:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Tom Cutting and Reverend Frank Ehman officiating. The family will receive friends following the services in the Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Pojman is survived by his wife, Betty Pojman of Austin; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Ann and William Coffey of Salisbury, North Carolina, Penelope Elizabeth and Baker McAdams of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, John Joseph and Linda Pojman of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Michael Coffey, Matthew and Sandra Coffey, Timothy and Lisa Coffey, Cindy Coffey, Natalie McAdams, Mark McAdams, April Pojman and Amber Pojman. He is also survived by his brother and wife, Charles and Sue Pojman of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Mildred Urbanek of LaGrange Park, Illinois, and Mrs. Forrest Bennett of Austin, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund will be established in his name at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition, Austin, Texas 78703. Arrangements by Cook-Walden Funeral Home, Lamar location.
